Xiaomi’s Redmi brand has revealed its latest Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition smartphone in China. It was announced along side Redmi K60 series.

It is a dual SIM higher mid-range smartphone powered by Android 12 and MIUI 14 on top. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor and Infrared sensor inside.

The device itself has measurements of 162.91 x 76.03 x 7.9 mm and has weight of 181 grams. It has super-linear stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. The cell phone packs a 5000mAh battery and allows 67W fast charging.

The Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed specs include 6.67-inch OLED display that offers 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, 90Hz / 120Hz refresh rate options, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 1920Hz high-frequency PWM dimming and DCI-P3 colors. The screen supports HDR10+, Dolby Vision and delivers 900nits peak brightness.

Under the hood is an octa-core Snapdragon 778G mobile platform with Adreno 642L GPU. It has 6GB/8GB LPDDR4X RAM and has 128GB UFS 2.2 storage space. The top end variant of Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition has 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage space.

In terms of cameras, it has 108MP (main, 1/1.52-inch Samsung HM2 sensor, F/1.89 Aperture, OIS) + 8MP (120-degree ultra-wide, F/2.2 Aperture) + 2MP (macro, F/2.4 Aperture) lenses along with LED Flash. At the front side is a 16MP selfie shooter.

For connectivity, it has 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.2, USB Type-C, NFC, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou and 3.5mm audio jack.

The Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed variant comes in Shimmer Green, Midnight Black and Blue colors. It is already up for sale in China.
