Xiaomi has finally unraveled its latest Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro flagship smartphones in China.

Xiaomi 13 specs and features

The phone measures 152.8 x 71.5 x 7.98 (glass) / 8.1mm (leather) and weighs 189 grams (glass) / 185 grams (leather). The handset comes with a flat side frame and sports rounded corners with sharp edges.

The smartphone offers dual SIM connectivity with dedicated Nano Slots and allows 5G SA/NSA and Dual 4G VoLTE. The device itself sports an IP68 water/dust proof rating.

The specs of Xiaomi 13 include 6.36-inch E6 AMOLED HDR10+ display offering 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 5000000:1 (min) contrast ratio and delivers up to 1900nits peak brightness. It has support for Dolby Vision as well. Xiaomi has included an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometrics.

Pumping inside is an octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen2 mobile platform with Adreno 740 GPU. It has 8GB / 12GB LPDDR5X RAM (8530 Mbps) options and has 128GB / 256GB / 512GB UFS 4.0 storage space. The Xiaomi 13 feature in 4642mm² large VC liquid cooling area for better thermals.

The smartphone boots with Android 13 based MIUI 14 out of the box. It has a4500mAh (typical) battery and supports 67W wired fast charging, 50W wireless charging and 10W wireless reverse charging speeds.

The Xiaomi 13 packs in a 32MP front camera with F/2.0 Aperture. At the back side are triple cameras with LED Flash, OIS and 8K video recording support. These include 50MP (main, 1/1.49-inch Sony IMX800 sensor, F/1.8, Hyper OIS) + 12MP (120-degree ultra-wide, F/2.2) + 10MP (3.2X Telephoto, F/2.0, OIS) cameras.

For connectivity, it has Wi-Fi 6E 802.11ax, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.3, USB Type-C, NFC, dual Band GPS/GLONASS/Beidou/Galileo/NavIC and USB Type-C audio support. The cellphone sports stereo speakers with Hi-Res audio and Dolby Atmos.

The Xiaomi 13 color options include Black, White, Flora Green and Mountain Blue shades. The Xiaomi 13 Limited Custom Color Edition has Flame Red, Sapphire Blue, Jungle Green, Hurricane Yellow and Cement Gray colors.

It is up for order in China and Will go on sale from December 14th.

Xiaomi 13 Pro specs and features

It is a premium Xiaomi smartphone featuring a larger 6.73-inch E6 AMOLED LTPO HDR10+ display. It has 3200 x 1440 pixels resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, 1Hz-120Hz variable refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 1920Hz PWM dimming and 1900nits (peak) brightness levels. It has support for Dolby Vision and boasts Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection on top. There is an in-display fingerprint sensor as well.

The Xiaomi 13 Pro has dimensions of 162.9 x 74.6 x 8.38 mm (ceramic) / 8.7mm (leather) and weighs 229 grams (ceramic) / 210 grams (leather). The mobile comes with IP68 water and dust proof rating. It has dedicated dual Nano Slots for 5G SA / NSA and dual 4G VoLTE.

Internal hardware makes up of octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile platform with Adreno 740 GPU. It has 8GB/12GB LPDDR5X RAM (8533 Mbps) and has 128GB / 256GB / 512GB UFS 4.0 storage options. For better thermals and performance, it has 3400mm² large VC liquid cooling area.

The Xiaomi 13 Pro specs include triple rear cameras with LED Flash and 8K video recording. It has 50MP (main, 1-inch Sony IMX989 sensor, F/1.9 Aperture, 8-aspherical lenses, ALD ultra-low reflective coating, lens edge ink coating, cyclic olefin material, Leica Optics, HyperOIS) + 50MP (115-degree ultra-wide, F/2.2 Aperture) + 50MP (3.2X telephoto, F/2.0 Aperture, 10cm- infinity focus distance, OIS, 75mm focal length, floating focal lens design) shooters at back. At the front side is a 32MP selfie camera with F/2.0 Aperture.

The Xiaomi 13 Pro houses a 4820mAh (typical) battery and support 120W fast wired charging, 50W wireless charging and 10W wireless reverse charging. It has Stereo speakers with Hi-Res audio, Dolby Atmos and allows USB Type-C audio.
