Locus, a decision-making platform that provides automation and optimization in logistics operations, deployed its solutions to aid Rollick Ice Creams to reduce their logistics costs — that too by 8 percent.
It comes in to fill the crucial technology gap for the frozen desserts manufacturer. Rollick is now using Locus for planning the daily delivery to distributors all over West Bengal. With a quick turnaround time, Locus’ engine shaves 2 to 3 hours off the planning time.
Gaurav Khemani, Director of Rollick Ice Cream, said,
We are delighted to add Locus’ solution to our logistics system. It is important to improve the visibility of the fleet, especially during the peak season. Locus ensured that our fleet was efficiently used, while also saving logistics cost by 6 to 8%.
