With Nvidia’s ‘GeForce Experience’ you can now broadcast your gameplay, directly on Facebook Live

Good news hails for Geforce gamers, as from today, the gaming experience could be shared on Facebook via its live video streaming feature. Nvidia CEO Jen-Hsun Huang at its CES press conference stated that GeForce Experience‘s video game capture technology is being connected with Facebook Live today.

For those of you unaware, GeForce Experience is a gaming platform by Nvidia which lets GeForce subscribers download game-specific drivers to optimise their gaming experience. And now, users can show off their gaming skills on Facebook just by two clicks.

Post announcement, Huang invited BioWare’s GM Aaryn Flynn to present a demo to attendees.Flynn then broadcasted a game footage from BioWare’s upcoming game – ‘Mass Effect Andromeda’ on Facebook via the Live feature. Andromeda is scheduled to hit the stores by the end of March and will be added to GeForce list.

The streaming on Facebook Live is enabled through Nvidia’s GeForce Experience app which is compatible with PCs featuring Nvidia GPUs. Gamers can also add a webcam and microphone to interact with the Facebook audience while broadcasting.

Though it is not the first time live streaming option has been provided to gamers, since previously they could use Amazon-owned Twitch or YouTube Gaming to broadcast their games. Facebook is now another option added to the streaming list and with Nvidia’s support, it comes up as a tough competitor.

Facebook is constantly raising the stakes of its Live platform pursuing game developers and gamers in order to surge up the streams. Earlier in Mid-2016, the tech giant partnered with the game developer -Blizzard Entertainment for live streaming. Further, it has added a ton of features to the platform including Live360 to make video streaming more fun for its users.

Nvidia will certainly raise Facebook Live’s craze by providing a new set of audience for the same. This is one of significant news to come out from ongoing CES 2017, though we’ll keep you updated with further happenings.
