MobileDemand, provider of the broadest array of Rugged Windows tablets, is thrilled to have achieved certification of the Xtablet T1600 for the Verizon Wireless Network. The popular xTablet T1600 rugged Windows tablet is the first device from MobileDemand to gain Verizon’s approval for their LTE and CDMA networks.
As a leading device for mobile workforces, the xTablet T1600 is powered by an Intel i5 processor and runs Windows Professional, the most productive operating system in existence. Users can also utilize a built-in high performance barcode scanner, outdoor viewable display or multiple cameras to boost their productivity to new heights. The rugged tablet meets MIL-STD-810G standards for 4-foot drops and is IP65 sealed from water and dust.
“The xTablet T1600 as a standalone device has been powering through a multitude of tough jobs since its launch in November of 2014,” says Matt Miller, MobileDemand President. “Being able to now operate these rugged tablets on the nation’s most reliable wireless data network, Verizon, will extend the device’s functionality into even more industries and applications.”
The certification means that once the Verizon-enabled xTablet T1600 tablets have been acquired from MobileDemand, users may contact Verizon Wireless to have their devices equipped with either CDMA or LTE service. The service will give users a reliable wireless connection nearly anywhere, anytime.
Please contact MobileDemand to inquire about the LTE version of the xTablet T1600.
