Cheyenne, Wyoming, July 19, 2016. Blackfog is pleased to announce the appointment of Ward Clapham to its board of Advisors.
“We are very pleased to have Ward join the BlackFog team as we continue to focus on the forensics associated with corporate data loss and threats from ransomware and spyware.” said Dr. Darren Williams, CEO of BlackFog.
Ward has more than 20 years experience in forensic investigations and law enforcement. Previously he managed a special forensic investigative unit and services that provided confidential insight and resolution into insider threats, data breaches, security intelligence, corporate non-compliance, and business issues relating to governance, risk and compliance. Before that Ward was Superintendent of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP).
“BlackFog is at the leading edge of the next generation of security tools with its machine learning and behavioral profiling of threat vectors. Using real-time non-signature based techniques is the only way to stop the devastation caused by ransomware and spyware.” said Ward Clapham, Forensic Investigator. “I am excited to be involved with BlackFog and assist them as they rapidly expand their offerings.”
