There have been so many reports that Apple will stop production of the iPhone X because of lacklustre sales. However, these reports have now be said to be untrue.
The latest report states that the iPhone X will continue its production run until at least 2019. It added that Apple will not launch three new iPhone models this year, rather only two.
The new devices are said to be 5.85-inch and 6.46-inch units.
Amidst this back and forth, Apple itself is yet to release a statement about whether they are ending the production of the iPhone X.
We guess fans will have to wait for sometime to know if this sophisticated smartphone will be ended or not. For now, the smartphone is still alive.
In the meantime, Apple said it wants to diversify the suppliers of its Oled Screen. Currently, three Korean suppliers BH, Samsung Electro-Mechanics and Interflex provide the part. Sources say Apple could select one or two more suppliers to secure increased parts demand.
Thus far, Samsung Display has been the sole supplier for the OLED screen. From this year, its crosstown rival LG Display is expected to supply the largest 6.46-inch screen.
