Wouldn’t you like to own a denim Jacket that allows you to stay connected without reaching for your phone?
Well you can own the Interactive Levi’s Commuter Trucker Jacket for only $350. Levi’s and Google have collaborated to create the newest in wearable technology – the Levi’s® Commuter™ x Jacquard by Google Trucker Jacket.
It is the first ever smart garment with Jacquard by Google technology woven in. You can stay connected, not distracted as you get directions, information on nearby places, change your music, and answer calls.
The interactive jacket was first announced at the Google I/O developer conference back in May of last year. The price was announced recently in a discussion between Levi’s global product innovation head Paul Dillinger and ATAP’s Project Jacquard lead Ivan Poupyrev at the SXSW festival.
With a brush of your sleeve of the jacket, you’ll be able to:
- NAVIGATE THE CITY…Stay on course. Get reminded of your next turn or ETA to your destination.
- CONNECT TO YOUR SURROUNDINGS…Keep track of meaningful destinations along the ride.
- COMMUNICATE WITH EASE…Stay in touch while staying aware.
Levis’ says over time, additional features will be added to further make this jacket your co-pilot for life, on or off your bike
