After 4 months that iOS users have been using and enjoying all the new features that the latest Whatsapp updated Version 2.12.441 offer, their counterparts running on android OS devices can now heave a sigh of relieve as Whatsapp has finally remembered them.
Whatsapp have begun to roll out its Latest Update to android users (version 2.12.449), which feature host of new and much awaited Emojis.
Talking about emojis, a picture they say is what more than a thousand words, and not only that, emjois are used to socialize in a more fun and faster ways; and can easily pass a clear message across in a blink of the eye, other than typing…typing and typing characters all the time.
With the former Whatsapp version, you will notice that the emjoji tabs were only 5 in number, but with this latest updates, 3 more tab of desired emojis have been included and separated out.

With the latest update, you can now see separate beverage and sport emoji tab, which were merged in the bell tab in the previous version.
In the beverage tab, you will find additional emoji like a slant popped up champagne bottle and host of others which were lacking in the former version.
Then coming to the sport tab, you will notice addition of weight lifting emoji and others.
Additionally to the tab of new emojis is the bulb tab and flag tab, bringing them to total of 8 separate tap emojis as mentioned earlier.
The new Whatsapp also allows you now to have up to a total of 256 members in a single group.

Though video call feature is yet to be included, but this latest version present more fun ways of socializing and it finally broke the earlier barrier created between iOS and android platform, when it was only available to iOS users.
To update, you can log into your Google Play Store and see if it is already available for your device.
Finally, it is also worthy to note that Whatsapp has recently join the social media list of billionaires when it comes to number of active monthly users.
