We are excited to learn that our colleague Ravi Patel is one of the winners of the 2022 PMMI On The Rise Awards.
PMMI is our industry trade association for packaging and processing companies. The Emerging Leaders On The Rise Awards recognize young professionals who have demonstrated leadership potential in packaging and processing.
Ravi is our Controls Engineering Manager at our Oakland, NJ plant, where he is heavily involved in our line of sophisticated labeling equipment.
After joining the company six years ago, Ravi was promoted to his current position in 2021.
As Jack Roe, General Manager of our Oakland plant, commented when recommending Ravi for the award:
Ravi was promoted to Controls Engineering Manager early in 2021 based on his strong technical and leadership skills.
His accelerated learning in controls has set him up well for success in his new role. His extraordinary efforts and ingenuity have enabled ID Technology to keep up with customer demands, including complex overseas installations, despite being understaffed for most of 2021.
Ravi’s leadership and communication skills also help attract, retain and develop new engineers and technicians, including those outside of his area of responsibility.
Our field service techs and external customers rely on his expertise and professionalism to navigate challenging technical scenarios.
He has been the primary 1st line technical support for our more advanced labeling systems, being available to help both internal and external customers.

Ravi is currently working towards his Certified AutomationProfessional (CAP) certification through the
International Society of Automation.
He also has a Six Sigma White Belt and has completed training with Cognex Systems Integrator, Rockwell Logix Program, AutoCAD and MATLAB.
This is a really well-deserved award and it is great to see you recognized for this, Ravi.
