Introducing Windows file server backup and restoration

We’re excited to announce the latest version of RecoveryManager Plus. Windows file Server backups lead the way in this new release, giving admins like you a way to secure your enterprise data from any kind of attack or disaster.

Here’s a quick look at the major features this release has to offer:

  • Windows file server backup and restoration: Entirely back up all your file servers, including the system state and all data stored within them. Restore your file servers from scratch in case of ransomware attacks or general server failure.
  • File/folder/volume-level restoration of file servers: Restore individual files, folders, or volumes on your file servers.
  • File/folder-level restoration of VMware virtual machines (VMs): Restore individual files or folders on your VMware VMs.
  • Live VM migration: Perform live VM migrations of VMware and Hyper-V VMs.

Other enhancements include the ability to back up custom Group Policy Objects (GPOs) in Active Directory and support for backing up Hyper-V 2016 VMs. You can view a complete list of the enhancements here.
