Huawei is launching the foldable Mate X smartphone in Europe before the end of March. That’s what a top man says in an interview. He also says that Huawei is presenting another foldable smartphone in February.

It is obvious that Huawei will release the Mate X in Europe. The newer model has a Kirin 990-soc and will be released in China in March. A release of the newer model in Europe is therefore obvious. The Mate X was released in China last month.

In addition to the Mate X, Huawei is coming to the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next February with a new folding smartphone, says CEO Richard Yu in an interview with Frandroid . No details are yet known about this.

The new models cannot yet include Google services. Due to the trade of the US government, Google has no permission to approve new phones from Huawei. The Mate 30 Pro was released this fall in Germany, Switzerland and Spain without Google apps.
