Google adds Stadia support to Chromecast Ultra

Google has released an update for the Chromecast Ultra that Adds Stadia Support. As a result, players are no longer dependent on Chromecast Ultras that are in the box of the Founder’s Edition.

According to Google, the update makes it possible to play with an additional TV at home. The Stadia controller is still needed to be able to play on a TV with the streaming service.

Google had already promised the update. In the Founder’s Edition of Stadia is next to the controller a Chromecast Ultra with which it is possible to play games on a TV. The update for existing Ultras has not taken place until now.
