Google adds Stages support to Chromecast Ultra

Google has released an update for the Chromecast Ultra that Adds Stages Support. As a result, players are no longer dependent on Chromecast Ultras that are in the box of the Founder’s Edition.

According to Google makes the update possible to play with an additional TV in-house. The Stadia controller is still needed to play games on a TV with the streaming service.

Google had promised the update before. The Founders’s Edition of Stadia includes a Chromecast Ultra next to the controller that allows you to play games on a TV. The update for existing Ultras has so far been waiting for itself.

It’s cast version 1.42.180518, reports Android Police. It has been coming in to users since Wednesday evening. Stadia came out last month. Tweakers has published a review of Stadia.
