Google is going to extend the so-called context Menu of Gmail for G Suite users. Where that menu now offers four options, that will soon be twelve. These are customary options for e-mail clients, such as responding, forwarding, searching by sender and more.
Google says the new features start immediately, but it only talks about availability for the business G Suite users. The question is whether Google reserves this kind of basic functions for business customers. The chance seems that ordinary consumers can also use this menu within a certain time. G Suite has certain features that the regular Gmail service does not have, so it’s not sure that users of the free version will also receive the options.
The existing menu offers the options of tab move, archive, mark as unread and delete. This includes reply, reply all and forward , but also snooze, mute , label, search by sender and open in a new window. Anyone who is in a Rapid Release domain at G Suite will have the job by 26 February at the latest.
