Netgear has released new firmware for its Nighthawk AX8 and Nighthawk AX12 routers. These routers, also referred to as RAX80 and RAX120, can transmit and receive data on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands based on the 802.11ax standard. In addition, six Gigabit Ethernet ports are present, one of which is on the wank side and the other five can be used internally, and two USB 3.0 connections are present. The version number of the update is 1.0.1.40 for the AX8 and 1.0.0.64 for the AX12. The changes look like this:

Improved the performance, stability, and reliability
RAX80 version 1.0.1.36:
Fixes some minor bugs.
RAX80 version 1.0.1.34:
Enhances the wireless connectivity and coverage
Enhances the stability of Smart Connect
Supports the WAN aggregation feature
Fixes some minor bugs.
RAX120 version 1.0.0.64:
Supports WPA3.
Fixed some Web GUI minor issues
