Crash Team Racing gets a remaster under the name Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled. The game is developed by Beenox. On June 21, 2019, the game will be released for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One.
The announcement of Crash Team Racing happened at The Game Awards in Los Angeles. The trailer that Activision showed shows the contrast between the graphics of the original game from 1999 and Nitro-Fueled. The remaster will cost forty dollars and a more luxurious edition, the Nitros Oxide Edition, costs sixty dollars. The latter includes an extra driver.
Thomas Wilson, the creative director of Nitro-Fueled, reports in a blog post that the modes return from the original game. Wilson also reports that new features are present that have not yet been shown during the announcement. These will be announced in the coming months.
Crash Team Racing originally came out on September 30, 1999 for the first PlayStation. It was then developed by Naughty Dog, the studio behind the Uncharted series and The Last of Us. The remaster is from the hand of Beenox, the studio that made the race part in Skylanders Superchargers.Viewing:-29
