Phanteks releases Enthoo Evolv X housing in September

Phanteks reports that his Enthoo Evolv X housing will be released in September. In the US, the large cabinet, which can accommodate two systems if desired, will receive a price of two hundred dollars. A euro price is not yet known.

Phanteks makes three color variants: black, gray and silver. The side panel is made of tempered glass and the housing itself consists of aluminum and steel. The Evolv X housing weighs 15 kg and has dimensions of 240x520x520mm. There is room for an e-atx motherboard or smaller variants. A 190mm CPU cooler fits into the cabinet and graphics cards can be up to 435mm long.

The Enthoo Evolv X offers space for six 2.5 “SSDs and with optional accessories that can be expanded to nine units, four 3.5” HDDs can be installed, but upgrades can also be purchased ten pieces to place. It is possible to install two systems by purchasing an optional bracket so that a mitx motherboard can be mounted at the top of the housing. Users can use this space differently to build in a radiator.

Phanteks says, according to TechPowerUp, that the Evolv X enclosure will be available at stores from September. The manufacturer has the cabinet on his own website as preorder and says orders in the week of September 10 deliver.

The Enthoo Evolv X housing was announced at the Computex exhibition in May. Back then Phanteks told Tweakers that the plan was to release the housing in August for around two hundred euros.
