LG has announced its first Android One smartphone. The G7 One runs on stock Android and includes a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835-soc. LG has also introduced the G7 Fit, which does not have an Android One. It is not yet clear whether the phones also come to the Benelux.
The LG G7 One features a notch at the top and has a 6.1 “screen with a resolution of 3120×1440 pixels and a screen ratio of 19.5: 9. The device has 4GB of ram and 32GB of storage space, which with a micro- SD card can be expanded and the phone also contains the Boombox speaker of the G7 ThinQ, a 3.5 mm jack and a quad-dac.
The G7 One does not have a dual camera; on the back is a single camera with a resolution of 16 megapixel with an aperture of f / 1.6 and on the front is an 8-megapixel copy with an aperture of f / 1.9. The battery has a capacity of 3000mAh and the device runs on Android 8.1.
The South Korean manufacturer has also introduced the LG G7 Fit. This device is broadly similar to the G7 One, with the main difference being the lack of Android One and the integration of a slightly slower soc. The G7 Fit features the Snapdragon 821, has 4GB ram and 32 or 64GB of storage. Furthermore, the specifications largely correspond to those of the G7 One.
A spokesperson for LG could not say whether the devices will come to the Benelux and which price tags will be added. Perhaps this information will be published in the coming days, as the aircraft will be shown at the IFA exhibition in Berlin.
