Xiaomi has planned an event for July 24 in Spain. Probably the Manufacturer comes with a successor for the Mi A1, his only Android One smartphone so far, which last summer was released.

Xiaomi has invited fans to an event that will take place on July 24 in the Spanish capital Madrid. According to the manufacturer, it is the first worldwide announcement of a Xiaomi phone in Spain, although strictly speaking it is not correct. The manufacturer presented the Mi 5 including an event in Barcelona two years ago.

The manufacturer has already presented its top models for this year, the Mi 8 series, in June. Therefore, it seems obvious that it announces a successor to the Mi A1, the first Xiaomi phone in the Android One program.

The assumption is that Xiaomi will base the Mi A2 on the previously presented Mi 6X. The phone has a 6 “18: 9 LCD with a resolution of 2160×1080 pixels, the device has a dual rear camera and a single front camera, the phone runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660, with 4 or 6GB lpddr4x memory and 64 or 128GB ufs storage Xiaomi itself did not say what products it will show during the event.
