The popular social networking app now lets you share multiple photos and videos on your stories.
This week, Instagram announced the latest feature added to their Stories: the ability to upload Multiple Photos and videos.
Although the Stories feature of Instagram initially started as a way for people to post random and unfiltered stuff, it’s not the case now. A lot of users now edit their videos and photos using third-party apps before adding them to their stories. Of course, there would also be times when there’s no data signal so posting the pictures and videos would be next to impossible. It can be time-consuming (and annoying) to have to upload them one by one.
The latest update solves that by letting you choose a bunch of photos and videos and uploading all the media at once. Currently the update is only for Android phones but according to the company, it will be coming to iOS “in the coming weeks.”
To do this, simply click the new icon in the top right corner of the screen. Once tapped, your photo gallery will be displayed and up 10 photos can be selected. After choosing the photos, you can see a preview of how they all look before posting them. You can also add the usual text, stickers, hashtags, GIFS to each individual photo before uploading them.
One other update that came to the Stories is the location tagging. When you share an image or a video, Instagram will automatically suggest places around where it was captured. This makes it easier to add locations to your uploads.
