After Apple, Samsung Admits Galaxy Note 8 Has Battery Problems

After Silicon Valley giant Apple Inc. that was dragged into the Battery issue, now it is Samsung. The South Korea-based tech company is now facing a battery-related problem in its Galaxy Note 8 device.

The news comes after a large number of Samsung Users in the US reported that Samsung Galaxy Note 8 phablets stopped charging. They said the problem persisted even after the Galaxy Note 8’s battery was drained.

As an initial response, Samsung has replaced the problematic devices but what Samsung users felt right now was that they are anxious about the company’s silence on the battery issue.

We all know that 2017 was the best and practically, a generous year for Samsung but this may eventually change. This is because of the reports mounting about the battery-related issue on their devices.

Galaxy Note 8 battery problem is not ‘life-threatening’

But some tech analysts would claim that the present battery problem encountered by Samsung users in Galaxy Note 8 is just a simple problem. Some even said that it is not a life-threatening at all compared to the battery fiasco in its predecessor, the Galaxy Note 7.

However, they emphasized that Samsung’s silence or response to the problem is the same. In 2016, Samsung had faced the exploding battery in Galaxy Note 7. It took a while for the company to release a statement which leaves Samsung users to think apprehensible.

Galaxy Note 8 owners have no phone to use or worse; they could no longer recover data because of the battery problem. Samsung, in a statement, linked the issue to charging management.

Below is the official statement coming from Samsung:

“Samsung takes all reports of this kind, of course, seriously. We have received only a very small number of customer inquiries that can be linked to charging management. Unfortunately, we can only comment on the matter further if we have more detailed information about the affected devices.”
