I’ve never been a fan of car rentals because I thought it didn’t make much sense especially for someone who already owns a Vehicle. I have two cars in my garage- a Toyota Land Cruiser and BMW 5 Series. I use both interchangeably depending on my needs- The Land Cruiser for rugged adventures, and the BMW for casual city driving. For that, I decided I would explore the thrilling city of Ras Al Khaimah.

Ras Al Khaimah is a captivating city with outstanding nature, adventure, and authentic offerings. Life here is quite cheap and everything is so affordable unlike in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The food in Ras Al Khaimah was also phenomenal with so many varieties; from delicious arabian cuisines to mouth watering foreign dishes. I enjoyed every bit of my stay here, thanks to the rental car. I was to mix business with pleasure in a very seamless manner.

Final Thoughts

Renting a car has several benefits over buying one and for the first time I regretted owning two vehicles. Because I realized during the course of my car rental experience that driving a rental car can make your life much easier. There was no need for frequent car repairs or maintenance as the rental company handled all that. Besides, one can avoid the cost of depreciation associated with car ownership by simply renting a car. However, it’s also with nothing that the company you hire a car from is directly proportional to the experience you will face with the vehicle.
