‘New Spacex Launch’ has been trending for the last couple days, the umpteenth time in less than a year. Ever since business tycoon Elon Musk launched his multi-billion space venture, SpaceX, there has been a renewed interest around the possibility of human beings travelling to the Moon. It goes without saying that this was almost limited to the peripheries of science fiction until a while ago. 

Last year turned out to be extremely significant for Elon Musk-owned SpaceX, which catapulted a host of launches throughout the year. Among them, the SpaceX Starship Launch and the SpaceX Dragon Launch were really crucial for the NASA-backed space startup. This year too, it started off in style as a new SpaceX launch took place as early as in the second week of January. 

For the uninitiated, SpaceX remains the largest provider of satellite-based high-speed, low-latency broadband internet around the world. And it continues to keep thriving even at a time, when its captain of the ship, Elon Musk himself, is amidst troubled waters due to the series of disturbing events in Twitter, which also include the highly controversial Twitter mass exodus. 

Pretty recently, within a span of just three days, the ones who were eagerly waiting for a new SpaceX launch to take place, got lucky enough to catch not one, but two such events. To their utter exhilaration, SpaceX engineered the SpaceX Super Heavy launch, which was followed by the latest segment of Falcon 9, a move which is believed to add more firepower to its Starlink Satellite Internet Service, which is still on the pole position. Interestingly, Apple has churned out a new Emergency SOS via Satellite feature in its elusive iPhone 14 lineup.

New SpaceX Launch Gives Musk Oxygen Can

The Super Heavy Booster, which is believed to be the most powerful rocket ever built, saw the successful ground test of its engines, days back. This massive development unfolded at the Starbase Boca Chica facility in Texas on Thursday. 

It has been reported that SpaceX conducted what is known as a static fire of Super Heavy, a monstrous rocket booster. We came to know that the Super Heavy is specifically designed to send SpaceX’s next-generation Starship vehicle toward orbit before returning to Earth.

Elon Musk took to Twitter, which is owned by Musk himself, to announce that as many as 33 engines were test fired, among which, 31 are good to reach the orbit. “Team turned off 1 engine just before start & 1 stopped itself, so 31 engines fired overall,” he tweeted. Further adding, “But still enough engines to reach orbit!” 

The numbers are indeed promising enough so far as the fate of the high-profile SpaceX projects are concerned. It shows that things are heading in the right direction. 

On the other hand, Falcon 9 too, came up with the launch of 55 Starlink Internet satellites on Sunday. It’s absolutely sensational that a Falcon 9 rocket topped with 55 Starlink craft lifted off Sunday at 12:10 a.m. EST (0510 GMT) from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. This is going to have strong implications in the coming days.
