Apple One is a service pack from Apple that frees up access to multiple applications by paying for a single monthly subscription. Whoever subscribes to the combo will have access to Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, and at least 50 GB of iCloud space. Savings can reach up to 33% over standard service prices if they were contracted separately.

The novelty was announced last Tuesday (15) during an Apple event and will be available in over 100 countries in October, with prices starting at $14.95/mo. Below, see how Apple One works, which services are included, and know the values of each plan.

Services included in Apple One

Apple One gathers four Apple services in the same subscription, which costs from $14.95/mo. The combo focuses on entertainment and gives the right to music, games, series, and movies. Besides, users earn space on iCloud to store files and photos. Thus, Apple One service portfolio includes:

  • Apple Music: a music streaming service from Apple that offers more than 70 million songs to listen to. The platform allows users to download music to listen to offline and offers exclusive playlists and live radios. Its individual subscription is $9.99/mo and the family subscription is $14.99/mo;
  • Apple TV+: streaming of Apple movies and series, which includes original and exclusive content from the company. The service has a monthly subscription of $5;
  • Apple Arcade: a subscription that gives the right to more than 100 games, without ads or purchases inside the app. Users can play online and offline for a subscription that costs $4.99 per month;
  • iCloud: Apple storage service that allows you to store photos, videos, and other files in the cloud. All users get 5 GB for free but can hire more space for from $1.19 monthly (50 GB).

Apple One Plans and Pricing

Apple One will arrive in October with three different plans: the Individual, which will cost $ 26.90 per month, the Family, with a price of $ 37.90 monthly, and Premier with $29.95/mo. The main difference is in the space of the iCloud because while the Individual plan has 50 GB, the Family offers 200 GB to be shared with up to six family members while the Premier boasts of 2TB, and can also be shared with six people. It is worth mentioning that, if the user needs a larger amount of storage, they can buy it separately.

Apple offers good prices for those who contract the service package. In the case of the individual plan, it is possible to save up to $6 per month, in relation to the standard monthly price of the services acquired separately. If you subscribe to the Family option, the price can reach $8 per month. On percentage values, the Individual plan allows saving 33% and the Family, 31%. If you buy the Premier option, you save up to $25 per month.

Besides the other benefits of the Premier plan, the combo offers Apple News+, which gives access to the main newspapers and magazines in the world, and Apple Fitness +, a personalized training program that will be launched by the end of 2020.

Compatible Devices

According to Apple’s official website, the content and services offered in the above plans can be used on any device from the manufacturer, such as the iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, the entire line of Mac computers, and iPod touch. Apple Fitness+ requires the use of Apple Watch to collect information on physical activities and user health.

What Changes for Existing Subscribers?

Who is subscribing to any of these services individually will receive a message from Apple on their devices offering the new Apple One, in a plan compatible with their current one. If the user wants to migrate, they will be able to do so easily on the device they are currently using.

In this case, the customer will receive a single bill with all plans included and will pay a single bill, cheaper than if they subscribed to all services individually.

Free Trial and Loyalty

According to the company’s website, Apple One can be tested free of charge for 30 days, but this only applies to those services that the user does not yet have access to. It is worth making clear that the customer can subscribe and cancel the plan whenever they want, without having to be stuck for a certain period.
