The Free Upgrade for Biomutant
The trailer for the free upgrades coming to Biomutant details native 4k resolution, up to 60fps, and super-fast loading for the game. However, it seems as though there won’t just be one set mode for performance. On Twitter the official account for the publisher, THQ Nordic, responded to a fan with the following:

What all three of these modes will offer has yet to be clarified. Especially what will be offered for the Xbox Series S considering its difference in hardware compared to the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5. The upgrades will become available on September 6th and you will be able to keep your saves in the process. If you have yet to play Biomutant and want a good experience with it.
The game is currently available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. If you buy and play it on the Xbox Series X it will already play the game at native 4k resolution, and mostly stay at 60fps throughout the experience. This is due to the backward-compatible technology within the console.
