Realme Narzo 30 Pro and Narzo 30A Debuts in India

Weeks after launching its X7 series in India, Realme is back again with its new Narzo 30 series in India. The Narzo 30 series includes the Narzo 30 Pro, which is more focused on mobile gaming enthusiasts, and a Narzo 30A, which serves as an affordable option focusing on being more budget-conscious; Narzo 30 is missing from the scene atleast for now.

Realme Narzo 30 Pro

Realme Narzo 30 Pro is nothing but a rebranded Realme Q2 that launched in China last month. The Narzo 30 Pro sports a 6.5-inch FHD+ LCD panel having a 120Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. There’s a punch-hole cutout at the top left housing a 16MP sensor for selfies.

The Narzo 30 Pro is powered by Mediatek’s Dimensity 800U SoC coupled with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 128GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage. The Dimensity 800U brings 5G connectivity onboard, and Realme is marketing it as the “most powerful 5G gaming mid-ranger”. The smartphone runs Realme UI on the top of the Android 10 out of the box, but Realme has promised RealmeUI 2 update to arrive soon.

There’s a 5000mAh battery onboard backing up the smartphone, which supports 30W Dash Charging that can be charged to nearly 50% in 25 minutes, while a complete charge takes 65 minutes.

It features a triple camera arrangement consisting of a 48MP main camera with an f/1.8 lens and an 8MP ultrawide-angle camera with a 119-degree field of view, and a 2MP macro camera.

The Narzo 30 Pro will be available at Rs. 16,999 for the 6GB+64GB storage variant and Rs. 19,999 for the higher-end 8GB+128GB variant. It will be available in two colors – Sword Black and Blade Silver through Flipkart and Realme.com, starting 4th March.

Realme Narzo 30A

The Narzo 30A succeeds last year’s Narzo 20A and carries forward, falling under the sub-Rs. 10,000 price segment.

Narzo 30A sports a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD panel having a resolution of 1600 x 720-pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. There’s an 8MP sensor housed inside the waterdrop notch for selfies.

The Narzo 30A is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 chipset coupled with up to 4GB of RAM and up to 64GB of storage which is expandable using a microSD card. It’s running Android 10 based Realme UI out of the box. It packs a 6000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.

The Narzo 30A features a dual-camera setup at the back consisting of a 13MP sensor with an f/2.2 lens and a B&W portrait lens along with a LED flash.

The Realme Narzo 30A will be available in two storage variants – 3GB+32GB for Rs. 8,999 and 4GB+64GB for Rs. 9,999 in two color options, Laser Black and Laser Blue through Flipkart and Realme.com from March 5.

Realme has also introduced a bunch of accessories accompanying the company’s Narzo series and specially targeted mobile gaming enthusiasts. The accessories include – Realme Cooling Back Clip, Mobile Game controller, and finger sleeves.
