What Are IT Services?

IT services  (Information Technology Services) are any services that are performed by an information technology company. This can include anything from setting up a new computer network for a business to developing a new software Application. IT services can be divided into two broad categories: infrastructure services and application services. Infrastructure services involve the physical hardware and software that make up a computer system, such as servers, workstations, and storage devices. Application services involve developing and maintaining software applications, such as databases and web applications. Many IT service companies offer both infrastructure and application services, as well as other specialized services such as data backup and recovery.
