AMD EPYC powered servers 7000 series processors announced

Recently announced EPYC’s 7000 series (PowerEdge R6415, R7415, and R7425) by AMD are highly scalable and supported high-performance workloads. The Dell EMC PowerEdge 6415 is featured with a 1U single socket server designed for dense computing, PowerEdge 7415 with a 2U single socket server designed for software-defined storage and PowerEdge 7425 with a 2U two-socket server that should excel in certain HPC workloads. In the case of PowerEdge R6415, it can specially tuned for edge computing. The PowerEdge R6415 has capacity up to 2TB memory, 32 high performance Ability Zen Cores, support up to 10 NVMe drives and 128 PCIe lanes. The PowerEdge R6415 can simplify and speed deployments with VMware vSAN and ScaleIO Ready Nodes. In the case of PowerEdge R7415, it has no compromise scale-up efficiency for software defined storage. The PowerEdge R7415 has capacity up to 2TB memory, 32 high performance ability Zen cores, support up to 24 NVMe drives and 128 PCIe lanes. In the case of PowerEdge R7425, it has scale-up efficiency for high-performance computing. The PowerEdge R7425 has outstanding TCO for data analytics, HPC, and scale-up software defined developments. The PowerEdge R641 has capacity up to 4TB memory, 64 high performance ability Zen cores, support up to 24 NVMe drives and 128 PCIe lanes.
