Hackers threaten 9 hours to destroy the data of the website of the Ministry of energy of Ukraine

Unknown Hackers attacked the website of the Ministry of energy and coal industry of Ukraine and threaten nine hours to destroy all the files.

As of 11:05 the website of the Ministry of energy and coal industry of Ukraine is not working. Unknown require you to pay them in cryptocurrency for unlocking his work. According to running timer, energy has less than 9 hours, after which “files are deleted”.

The hacker or group of hackers calling themselves X-zakaria, demand a ransom in the amount of 0.1 bitcoin (as of the morning of April 24 this more than 900 USD or about 24 thousand of Ukrainian hryvnia).

“Your important website files are encrypted. Many of vasimr,.css.js and other files are no longer available. Perhaps now you are busy looking for ways to restore files, but don’t waste your time! Nobody can decrypt your files without special decryption service,” reads the hackers left the record.

Posted at www.mev.gov.ua the Ministry website was launched on 17 January 2018. He replaced the previous site mpe.kmu.gov.ua which remains available as an archive.

Earlier hacker attack suffered by the website of the airline “Antonov” — there was supposedly a letter to the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko on the output of the plant of the state concern “Ukroboronprom”.
