Financial officer of NVIDIA said that the demand for video cards from miners in the 4th Quarter Exceeded Expectations.
The announcement was made at the time of publication of the company’s statement of income for the fourth quarter of 2017. Colette Kress reported that during this period the company’s revenue amounted to 2.91 billion dollars, which is 34% higher than the same period last year.
However, Kress stressed that the demand that the company watches the past few months, may change, depending on the state of the cryptocurrency market.
Although the contribution of the cryptocurrency industry our business is difficult to evaluate, it will probably exceed all the indicators that we have seen in the previous year. However, we remain committed to the gaming market, because the cryptocurrency market, apparently, will remain volatile.
The company continues to believe that mining industry in the end will amount to only a small part of the profits of the company. Analysts believe that the demand from miners will remain the same and I see no reason to increase it.
In games a lot of dynamics, but the gist of it is that all the time there are just awesome games.
