Disconnect AirPods from Your Device

  • Go to the Settings app on your connected device
  • Select Bluetooth
  • Tap i icon. You will be able to find this next to your AirPods at Devices
  • Select Forget this Device
  • Confirm Forget Device

Once you have disconnected your device from your AirPods, reconnect them again.

  • Go to Settings of your app
  • Select Bluetooth
  • Put your AirPods in its charging case. Ensure that the lid is open
  • Hold the button on the back of your charging case until the light flashes
  • Select your AirPods in the Bluetooth devices list on your connected device

Use One AirPod Then Put Back In Its Case

  • Get the AirPod that produces louder sounds
  • Use the AirPod by itself
  • Put it back in its charging case where the other AirPod is in
  • Ensure that you close the charging case with both of your AirPods are in
  • Your volume balance should be reset

Clean Your AirPds

Ensure that the bottom of your AirPods is clean as this is where your microphone is located. This is also the place where it gets the most dirty and where gunk builds up over time which could lead to reconnecting your charging case. To clean your charging case, open it, check the hole on which where you place your AirPods. Ensure that there is no dirt there.

Suck On AirPods That Are Too Soft

Though this might be a strange method. It is one of the most effective ways to fix the volume of your AirPods. Before doing this method, for hygienic purposes, we suggest that you clean your AirPods. Keep in mind not to use water.

Get A Replacement Using Apple Warranty
