Top 10 Dev Articles Over the Past Week (September 1— September 10)

Hey, folks! By tradition, we start our weekly digest with an interesting fact. This time, we’ll talk about one of the oldest inhabitants of our planet, whom you probably met when swimming in the ocean — jellyfish. These guys have been in the ocean for about 650 million years and existed long before the dinosaurs.

One of the special abilities of these amazing creatures is the ability to clone themselves. If you cut a jellyfish in two, the pieces of the jellyfish may generate two new organisms. At the same time, if a jellyfish is injured, it may clone itself and produce hundreds of offsprings.

Despite cloning, jellyfishes are great at shutting down nuclear reactors. A few nuclear reactors in Japan have been shut down thanks to jellyfishes, which swarms stuck in the intake pipes.

Alright, that’s enough to talk about jellyfishes and now let’s turn to our weekly digest.
