How to make Cream PUFFS

Cream PUFFS

Ingredients
  • One cup of flour
  • Three beaten eggs
  • 55g of Unsalted Butter
  • One cup of water
  • Pinch of salt
  • 250ml of All Rounder Thickened Cream
  • 50g of dark chocolate, melted
  • Icing sugar
Procedure
  • The first step is to preheat your oven to 200°C or 180°C for fan-forced.
  • Bring to the boil butter, water and salt in a medium saucepan.
  • Add the flour, and then cook over a gentle heat, while mixing delicately, until the mixture forms one lump. Remove it from heat and let it cool for approximately 5 minutes.
  • Add the well-beaten eggs a little at a time until combined and mixture is glossy.
  • Pipe table spoons of mixture onto a lined baking tray and bake for 10 minutes in a hot oven.
  • Decrease the oven heat to moderate and cook for a further 20 minutes. Note; do not to open the oven during cooking!
  • Whip the cream until thickened. Sandwich puffs with cream. Drizzle it with melted chocolate or dust with icing sugar.
