Easy Ways To Fix Dell Error Code 2000-0146

Dell users have come across the Dell Error Code 2000-0146 often on Windows. This error makes your PC freeze and the software applications stop responding. Full System Scan

Run PSA Diagnostics

Dell laptops usually have inbuilt diagnostics program called PSA diagnostics. This tool can troubleshoot many issues including the error code 2000-0146. Here’s how you can run the PSA diagnostics.

Restart your system and continuously press F12. Keep doing that until the Dell logo appears and you see One Time Boot menu. With the down arrow, select the PSA diagnostic option and press enter. This will launch the tool and then all you have to do is follow the commands.

Reset BIOS Settings

BIOS have the system settings that determine the performance and functionality of a PC. To reset the BIOS, first, restart your system and continuously press the F2 key until you see the system setup screen. press the right arrow and the exit option will be highlighted. Now, press the down arrow, select Load Optimized Defaults and hit enter. You have just reset your BIOS. Restart your system normal mode and see if you are still experiencing the error code 2000-0146.

If these solution doesn’t work, you can try running system restore in safe mode or perform a clean boot in safe mode. And if the error persists, it means your hard drive is damaged and you need to replace that instantly. Postponing the replacement can damage your system in long run.
