Google Pixel 3 is currently under development at Google and as we know so far it is possible to come out with a notch and face detection software similar to Apple’s Face ID. Besides, it is known that Google Pixel 3 will come in three different variants, one of which is a cheaper Pixel 3 for India.
Google Pixel 3 to come with a notch and a facial recognition system
Google Pixel 3 is meant to be a smartphone that attracts more and more users to the Google smartphones and Android platform and the integration of a facial recognition system similar to Face ID might do the magic.
However, integrating a notch could also draw some attention from the iPhone X fans but, as Apple itself would like to ditch the notch for the future 2019 models, we shall see how good is Google’s idea of releasing Google Pixel 3 with a notch.
Besides, there is nothing known about the Google Pixel 3 technical specifications, which most probably will be unveiled shortly.
Google Pixel 3 will come with a mid-range variant
Google plans on releasing Google Pixel 3 in three different variants, one of which will target the mid-range market.
However, the cheaper Google Pixel 3 mid-range phone will only be released in India, thus, it might be less probable to see it on the US market or any top market in the world.
This fact comes due to the reorganizing the Google’s strategy regarding the Indian market, where Google plans on releasing cheaper, mid-range products in the future.
Google Pixel 3 release date
Pixel 3 has been dubbed as the first phone to run Android P. Thus, Google Pixel 3 release date will possibly be somewhen in August 2018.
This theory has been somehow confirmed by some executives in the industry via ET Tech from Indian Times, who said that the cheaper mid-range Google Pixel 3 for the Indian market will be released in July-August 2018.
