One of the best things about benchmarking websites such as GeekBench is the fact that they are public. This means that if a smartphone company decides to test out one of its products, tech savvy fans can find out all the information they need about that product. Fortunately for Nokia fans, this is exactly what happened with Nokia 6 (2018).
Nokia 6 (2018)
HMD Global acquired Nokia one year ago and the Finnish tech manufacturer has been growing in popularity ever since. HMD Global wants to bring Nokia back to its old glory when Symbian smartphones were ruling the market and truth be told, HMD Global is actually doing a great job.
There is already a Nokia 6 model which came out in 2017 and the smartphone made record sales. With that being said, no one should be surprised to find out that a brand-new Nokia 6 (2018) model is going to hit the markets in the upcoming future. Nonetheless, let’s check out what this recent Geekbench Listing has to say about Nokia 6 (2018).
The first thing we need to mention about Nokia 6 (2018) is that it scored a whooping amount of 4163 points in the multi-core test. This is rather impressive and it shows us that Nokia 6 will be powered by one of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 630 CPUs. Furthermore, the processor will also be coupled with 4GB of RAM which make it even more powerful.
In addition, Nokia 6 (2018) scored 836 points in the single-core test. While this score might not be that impressive, Nokia 6 (2018) is still more than capable of running all sorts of processing task such as multitasking or running apps like Facebook and mobile games.
Last but not least, the upcoming smartphone will run on Google’s latest Android 8.0 Oreo operating system. This is great news for Nokia fans because this operating system is filled with thousands of cool features.
