Verge (XVG) was the most hyped cryptocurrency a couple of days ago, but things took a sudden turn when Verge (XVG) failed to deliver on its promises. The reason why everyone started investing money in Verge (XVG) during December was because the cryptocurrency’s developers promised to release the new Wraith Protocol on New Year’s Eve.
Verge (XVG) Fails to Deliver
As every Verge (XVG) investor knows by now, the Wraith Protocol didn’t arrive at all. This angered many stock investors and they decided to start pulling out their money. Just after the deadline for the Wraith Protocol passed, the entire Verge (XVG) community panicked and sold most of their tokens.
Since everyone started selling after midnight, Verge (XVG) dropped from 1,700 Sats to 1,260 in a matter of hours. Things got even worse as time passed since Verge (XVG) is now valued at 1,178 Sats.
Wraith Protocol is Now Available
On the bright side of things, the Wraith Protocol is now finally available for download. The official Verge (XVG) Twitter account posted on this issue and let the entire world know that the OSX release of the XVG client with Wraith Protocol is finalized.
Although, we still need to mention that High Sierra users are not able to download the new protocol. Instead of downloading and installing the protocol, High Sierra users are required to run terminal commands which will remove a bug.
John McAfee Advertises Verge (XVG)
John McAfee is a controversial software expert that advertises cryptocurrencies. His predictions are not always right, but there are thousands of people who still follow his advice. He is solely responsible for Verge (XVG)’s initial growth in popularity and people are expecting a response right now. However, John McAfee doesn’t have anything to say about the Wraith Protocol’s missed deadline and bugs.
