It seems like HTC decided to give us a New Year gift because an alleged render picture for the not-yet unveiled HTC U12 has been leaked. The leaked picture shows a sleek and massive display that looks similar to Apple’s latest iPhone design.
The most interesting thing about this display is the fact that rumors are pointing out that it will feature a 4K resolution and the large panel makes this rumor quite plausible.
HTC U12 Render Leak
We should also mention that the render picture shows us that HTC U12’s display will not feature any bezels. This is great news for HTC fans since it means that the smartphone will be better suited for watching videos and taking pictures with its higher resolution and ratio.
In addition, the leaked picture also reveals that HTC U12 is equipped with a power button and volume rocker on the right side. However, that’s not all since the picture also highlights the fact that HTC U11 will ship with a USB port on the bottom side.
Removed 3.5mm Audio Jack
Apple shocked the entire world when it launched iPhone 7 because it didn’t feature the traditional 3.5mm auxiliary jack anymore and it seems like HTC has decided to follow in Apple’s footsteps.
Even though this might mean that HTC fans will not be able to plug in their headphones, they still have the option of purchasing headphones which connect through the USB port or via Bluetooth.
HTC has been doing a great job of keeping U12 away from the media’s eyes and we don’t have that much information about the upcoming smartphone’s Hardware Specs. However, rumor has it that HTC U12 will ship with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and one of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 CPUs under its hood.
