The release dates for several highly anticipated smartphones have been leaked. The list includes smartphones such as Galaxy S9, Galaxy Note 9 and LG G7. The two South Korean companies are working hard on maintain their popularity and profits.
Samsung devices to be released very soon
According to a leak on Weibo, the two Samsung smartphones will be released in February 2018. This is highly likely since Samsung is a company known to follow previous policy. Therefore, it is unlikely Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus will be released during the Consumer Electronics Show in Vegas. Most likely the unveiling of the next set of Samsung smartphones will take place during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
LG G7 release date
The same leak suggests that LG G7 will also be released in February 2018. This means that LG is not afraid of competing with its rival Samsung. So far, it is unknown many of the features of the G7 smartphone. It is believed that it will be powered by the Snapdragon 845 chipset. If this were to happen, then rumors about Samsung signing an exclusive deal with Qualcomm are not true.
Xiaomi Mi 7
This smartphone is expected to be released in Chine in April 2018 and everyone is wondering if the Chinese company will be able to rival in the West with the likes of Apple and Samsung. Mi 7 is the first smartphone of the company to debut with a Snapdragon 845 chipset.
HTC U12 and other smartphones
HTC’s newest smartphone is expected to be released in May 2018, followed in June by devices such as OnePlus 6, ZTE Nubia Z18 and Sony Xperia XZ Pro-A.
2018 is going to be an interesting year, with many rivalries in the smartphone market.
