Moto X4 Android One Edition is about to receive Oreo update and we cannot be more hyped! Here’s what’s new:
Moto X4 Android One Edition is one of the luckiest phones so far with Android 8.0 Oreo already in USA and a brand new security patch. It also has this new feature called Parallel Apps, which means you’ll have a split screen style of your phone. Also, Picture-in-Picture mode, Auto-fill text selection and a redecorated Quick Settings design. No bloatware, but has video calling with Google Duo and the Google Assistant comes optimized. It’s basically the same Moto X4, but with a few other features.
Android Nougat or Android Oreo?
The phone was supposed to have Android Nougat, as stated in September, and about the Oreo it was said that it will appear on the phones by the end of the year. And it’s finally happening!
How do I install it?
As known, you are supposed to receive a notification to update your phone. You should pay attention to the battery – it should have at least 50% and the connection to the internet network should be a good one, with high-speed, in order for things to run smoothly. But, however, if you do not get the respective notification, you can search by yourself in Settings. You know, follow the steps: About phone, System updates and let it search if there’s a new update waiting.
Project-Fi Network? What?
Did you know that Moto X4 Android One Edition was the first phone to join Project-Fi network (and consider the fact that this phone is not under Google), which was only for Pixel and Nexus phones, just for $399 in the US?
