Ebikes have reached an impressive point and they can be considered a valid alternative for traditional vehicles. The Interbike International Expo that took place in Las Vegas managed to prove that. Daniel Tonokopiy was there and he presented a new Electric bike that manages to rival important companies like Tesla.
The new electric bike has an admirable range
The most important thing about the new Electric Bike is the fact that has a top range of 236 miles, which means that it is bigger than the one of Tesla Model 2, which is of 220 miles.
The electric bike is produced by Delfast, a company from Ukraine. “We have many plans. We’re going to open a sales office in California. I’m a fan of electric transportation, and I think this is the future of transportation,” the CEO of Delfast declared.
The goal of the company is to create electric bikes that are able to compete with cars. With this range, ebikes would be able make electric transportation more useful. “Imagine a car that could only go 40 or 50 miles. You’d never be able to be far from a gas station,” the CEO added.
Kickstarter
It appears that this project has plenty of fans. There is a Kickstarter that aims to raise $50,000. However, the campaign earned way more, and it already has $90,000, despite the fact that there is one more month for the Kickstarter.
There are three different models. The first model, the “Prime” one, weighs 95 pounds and it has a top speed of 34 miles per hour, with a range of 236 miles. The other two electric bikes have a range of 174 miles, and 112 miles respectively.
