A new and updated version of Whatsapp Business is now available for download. This is the 0.0.62 version of WhatsApp Business and the APK update can be downloaded right now. We should also mention that this update weighs in at 42.6MB and it requires a minimum of Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.
A couple of months ago, a bunch of leaks and rumors started pointing out that WhatsApp is working on a special Business oriented version of the app.
No believed these alleged leaks and rumors to be true but it seems like they were true all long. WhatsApp Business has been specially designed to give people the opportunity to have a business presence on WhatsApp.
What this means is that just like Facebook, WhatsApp will enable companies to create official accounts which allow them to directly communicate with their customers and receive valuable feedback.
This is also a great way of helping people grow their business since they will be able to promote their products to WhatsApp’s large user base.
One cool things about WhatsApp Business is that it allows people to have two separate accounts. Say for example someone owns a business, but that person doesn’t want to give out his personal phone number to customers, he can simply create two separate accounts and register them with different numbers.
Fixed Number Support
Considering that WhatsApp is now allowing business to create official accounts, some of those companies might have a special call support center. Therefore, WhatsApp Business gives companies the option to use a landline (fixed number) which will always be accessible to customers.
Worth mentioning is that WhatsApp Business is bundled with the same features which can be found on the original version of the app. This means that every business which registers an account on this new version of WhatsApp will receive access to free calls, messages, group chat and many more other features.
