Microsoft Surface Book 2 – New Processors, New Display and More

The Surface Book 2 is supposed to continue the Surface Book generation and it comes with all the necessary upgrades in order to take things to the next level. While, there are no major updates, there are some important additions. The Surface Book 2 will be an important release, because Microsoft has not released an actual laptop since 2015. This laptop will weigh more and it is harder to carry it around, compared to previous products.

The hinge of the laptop is different than before

One feature brought by the Surface Book 2 is the way the hinge works. It is similar to the tread of a tank and it should increase the horizontal depth of the base of the laptop. This was needed because the Surface Book 2 comes with a heavier screen that can be also detached so that you can use it as a standalone tablet.

Upgraded processors

The Surface Book 2 will also upgrade the eighth-generation Intel. There will be more versions available. For example, the 15-inch Surface Book 2 will come with the GTX 1060 and 6 BG of graphics memory, while the 13-inch version will have the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 with 2 GB of graphics memory.. This difference will be also noticeable when it comes to price. The 15-inch version will cost $2.499, while the 13-inch model will be priced at $1.499.

Thanks to the improved processors, the Surface Book 2 will be a powerful machine that is made for users who want something more complex. Therefore, if you are a casual user, you might not want this device. However, if you are ready for a beast of a laptop, you can consider Surface Book 2 as an option.
