Ark 2 Has Been Delayed Until The End of 2024

ARK 2, the highly anticipated sequel from Studio Wildcard, will not be released as planned and has been delayed until late 2024. Studio Wildcard announced that the decision was made to ensure the best possible final product and the well-being of their team.

In a blog post, the developers emphasized their commitment to making ARK 2 an exceptional and rewarding experience for players. They revealed that they will be utilizing the advanced technology of Unreal Engine 5 to achieve an unprecedented scope for the game.

Unfortunately, the delay means that there will be no in-game previews for the time being, with the next major gameplay reveal likely to come in 2024, though no specific date has been given. However, Studio Wildcard has promised to keep the community engaged by regularly showcasing more ARK 2 assets in the coming months.

“After careful consideration, we have decided to delay the sequel’s launch to the end of 2024, when it will still launch exclusively on Xbox, Game Pass, and Windows distribution platforms (Steam/PC). We’ve put much thought into delaying ARK 2 for the betterment of the final product and the team’s well-being. This news will be disappointing to many – we feel it too – but we’re confident this heavy decision is the right one, wrote team Studio Wildcard”.
