The Poco F1 is no doubt the best option in the current scenario for the mid-range segment. But before buying the Poco F1 you must read this news.
After people started using the handset they came across a couple of bugs which we generally don’t expect from a newly launched smartphone. The users of Poco F1 started facing Idea network connectivity issue and missing the Widevine L1 Certificate.
Idea SIM Cards Not Working on Poco F1 Reportedly Fixed
Currently, we’ve only got the news of Idea network issue which different users reported. Some users reported that the Poco F1 not detecting the Idea Sim, some Idea users claimed that they are unable to make phone calls from their Poco F1 and the majority of the users reported the phone is unable to connect to the Idea network.
However, soon after the news of a bug preventing the Idea SIM card not to work, a Twitter user Rohit Agrawal (reported by Mysmartprice) updated that the Poco India and Idea Care have solved the issue. I am now able to use my idea sim with Poco F1.

He did not mention how the issue was fixed, whether a firmware update or by Idea Cellular.
Another problem Poco F1 users are facing is the missing Widevine L1 Certificate which is required to stream HD videos from services like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and Hulu. Instead, the smartphone comes with Widevine L3 (see below image), which allow Netflix to run videos only up to 540p in resolution.
The issue was first reported on Mi Forum and it was shocking as well as disappointing for some users. Some users already ordered the Poco F1 don’t what to do now.
We are waiting to see if Xiaomi can fix the Widevine L1 issue with an update.
