Xiaomi has started to release the MIUI 10 China Beta Stable ROM for Xiaomi Mi 6 with build number V10.0.1.0.OCACNFH. However, the update is rolling out for some users right now.
The reason for a limited release is because the company need feedback about this update and if everything is OK it’ll be released publicly. The China beta update comes with August security patch and is about 589MB in size.
The MIUI 10 was announced on May 31, 2018, at an event in China where the Mi 8, Mi 8 SE and Mi 8 Explorer edition smartphones were also launched.
If your device is running Global Stable, Global Beta or China Developer ROM, you won’t receive this update. So make sure your device is running on China Stable Rom in order to get this update.
However, as mentioned earlier, this update is being pushed to random users as OTA, so even you are running China Stable ROM it’s not guaranteed that the update will land on your device.
