Honor has recently presented a special edition of the Honor Play smartphone, coming in next week on the Chinese market. Made in two colours, Red and Black, the only difference between the normal model and this version is the design at the rear of the body.

Honor Play Special Edition adopts in fact on all the back, particular geometric lines Laser Engraved, which closely resemble those of a printed circuit. On the upper part the words “AI Camera” have been imprinted, a reference to the support provided by artificial intelligence, capable of recognizing over 500 different scenes. The fingerprint sensor takes up the same shade of the body instead.

Technical specifications compared to the regular Honor Play, this model also adopts a Kirin 970 processor equipped with Turbo GPU, 6.3″ FHD + screen, up to 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory, a dual rear camera 16 + 2 MP and a 3750 mAh battery.

Honor Play Special Edition will be available from next August 1 at a price CNY 2499.
