Initially, the Chinese Smartphone company Xiaomi had said that it will launch the Mi7 smartphone at the MWC 2018, but later it was reported that the company has decided to take the Mi Mix 2S instead to the mega tech expo. Interestingly, now there is rumour about MI7 that the handset can knock in April with 8 GB RAM and 4,480 MAH battery.
The MI7 will be an upgrade version of MI6 which came with 4GB and 6GB of RAM variants options and 3,350 mAh battery capacity. As per the leaked screenshot the phone that is being quoted to feature Snapdragon 845 processor, 16-16 Megapixel's dual camera setup and 5.6-inch full HD Plus resolution display.
There is a possibility of giving 128 GB storage in it. Hint from this picture has found that the user interface version of the handset is the MIUI 8.1.30, but we might witness the latest version of MIUI 9at the time of launch of the handset.
We don't know the exact reason for postponing the launch of Mi7, but it is assumed that Xiaomi is avoiding the launch because some big players also launching their handsets at the MWC 2018, which include the Samsung Galaxy S9, Sony Xperia XZ Pro and also Nokia 1 from HMD Global.
It is being said that the 'fear' of these big launches has left the rest of the companies scrambling to drop the smartphone. The MWC event will run from February 26 to March 1. It is worth mentioning that Xiaomi did not participate in the previous MWC show but the company had displayed M5 in the MWC 2016.
