Nickelodeon brings 800 new episodes and VR content

Nickelodeon recently announced a significant expansion of digital content for the 2018-2019 season, trying to maintain a good position in the market and prevent Netflix from taking over the world of young entertainment. The expansion covers 800 new episodes of the new series and returning series, an increase of 20% compared to last year's efforts. The company also plans to extend its efforts to the world of VR and VR through its applications aimed at children.

Some of the new episodes include the re-launch of the classic pre-school series, Blue & # 39; s Clues and the remake of the popular Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Another attraction is the new Spotless executive series produced by Jon Cena, a WWE star who sees children competing in several paint-filled and physical challenges, trying to keep as much cleanliness as possible. Nickelodeon also renewed Short Sync Battle Shorts and commissioned Los Casagrandes to increase the diversity of the network.

Nickelodeon announced that he works with IMAX when introducing the first SlimeZone-Nickelodeon multiplayer, a virtual reality community – to choose IMAX VR Center around the world. The network also presented a new augmented reality mode for Sky Whale gaming applications and will expand its location facilities with SlimeFest, a music festival for juniors that will take place in June in Chicago with the participation of Nick's favorite hosts, including Lip Sync Battle Shorties star JoJo Siwa, Flo Rida and Liam Payne.

"With the growing share and development of content in overdrive, we are rediscovering ourselves to best serve the new and next generation of customers on new platforms of the new generation," said Cyma Zarghami, president of the Nickelodeon Group. "Children are our anchor and the North Star, and this bond with the audience allows us to connect with them everywhere."
